MISCONCEPTION ABOUT ISLAM

There are many non-Muslims who have studied some books about Islam; most of them have only read books written by non-Muslims.
It is common to complain among some non-Muslims that Islam would not have millions of adherents all over the world, if had not been spread by the use of force. The following points will make it clear that far from being spread by the sword

Muslims ruled Spain for about 800 years. The Muslims in Spain never used the sword to force the people to convert; later Christian crusades came to Spain wiped out the Muslims.
More than 80 per non-Muslims in India. The Muslims ruled India for about thousand years if they wanted. They had the power of converting each and every non- Muslim of India to Islam. In India that 80 per cent of the non-Muslims Indians are bearing witness today that Islam was not spread by the sword.

Indonesia and Malaysia has maximum number of Muslims in the world, may one ask which Muslim army went to Indonesia and Malaysia.
Similarly, Islam has spread rapidly on the East coast of Africa; one may ask again if Islam was spread by war or killing and which Muslim army went to the East coast of Africa? Muslims could not use it to spread Islam because the Quran says in the following verse: Let there be no compulsion in religion truth stand (out) clear from Error (2:256) who ever hurts or non- Muslim will not smell a whiff of paradise ( Prophet Muhammad) P.B.O.H.

MISUNDERSTANDING

People misunderstand Islam a lot, for an example if a 50- year- old Muslim married a 16- year- old girl after getting her permission, it appears on the front page of the various media but when 50- year- old non- Muslim man rapes a six-a-year-old girl it appears in the middle pages of the newspaper. In America an average of 2 713 cases of rape take place which don’t even appear in the news.

AWARE

I am aware that there are some Muslims who are dishonest, unreliable, who cheat e.g. but not only Muslims are involved in such activity. There are black sheep in every community, for example in Swaziland, who is raping, killing people. Are the Muslims responsible for this? If a man rapes his own daughter is the Muslims responsible? Men here marry without the parents or even the girls consent. Are the Muslims responsible for that? Buy the Times to see who is responsible.

If you want to judge the latest model of the Mercedes car and put an unprofessional driver on seat and he drives badly and tyre bursts, who are you going to blame the car or the driver?
If I agree for the sake of argument that the Muslims are bad, we can’t judge Islam by its followers. If you want to judge how good Islam is then judge it according to its authentic sources.

 Even the Bible has prophesied about Islam and Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). There are also lots of references too. Those who claim Islam is an inherently violent religion ignore the overwhelming majority of adherents to the faith, there are more than 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide who live peacefully. They would also ignore that using religion as a justification for violence is not new.

There are countless examples of members of the religions involving faith as they perpetrate violence, such as Buddhist nationalist movement in SRI-INKA and Myanmar instigating violent campaigns against Muslims, for instance most people are able to critically analyze these movements and not lay the blame on a billion Muslims including myself, makes it clear that violence committed by Muslims is not because of faith.

 Once this is understood, the world can stop focusing on misguided attention on one ostensible factor that has been twisted to demonstrate that violent extremism has no State or religion and that all identities, ethnicities and religion are part of the solution.
Islam is completely peaceful religion, no one is allowed to kill. The one who kills an innocent human being it shall be as if he killed all human kind. Quran 5: 32.
It is against Islam to kill.
If anyone who has a question regarding Islam they can visit the nearest Mosque, we always have time for the truth clarification. If you understand Islam. Then you will understand that all that written by media is not entirely truth.
