EARNERS VS SPENDERS

Sir,

While growing up I had this strong believe that the cause of the differences in our lifestyle was mainly because of the amount of money that people earn on a monthly basis. Now is that truly why we differ so much in our lifestyles even though at times we may earn just about the same amount of money and come from the same geological location (neighbourhood)?

As I push a trolley in a certain supermarket around town and observe the different lives passing by with different agendas; I come to realise that many people earn differently, some show in the way they present themselves, the items they buy as well as their geological location which can sometimes be determined by the way they present themselves. This might have brought a different conclusion altogether. The answer may also lie in the way we spend money, the factor that seems to cause many differences in our lifestyles.

The amount of money we earn is vital but more important is the way we spend that hard earned money. So many people spend many years earning a lot of money without many differences in their lifestyles (development wise). Some are even co-workers but are much different in their lifestyles. In such a way that one’s life does not resemble the department he/she works in. So the winner in this deliberation lies in the way one spends his/her money.
This generally will determine the direction of their lives and the way in which their lives will develop. Good spenders are the ones who develop quickly in life (lifestyle wise).
