SPITEFULNESS IS NASTY

It was with regret and shock that I observed one of the ‘galajanes’ of a candidate I am competing against in the forthcoming local government elections, as he removed my posters and replaced them with his ‘master’s poster’ on the same pole.

This is a criminal offence. I wondered how it was that posters I had personally hung up the previous day had been totally removed by the following morning. I thank God I do not have such nastiness left in my being. This showed me that numerous people have yet to realise their worth. The universe does not respond positively to ‘spiteful’ behaviour such as this. Competition should always be carried out on an equal platform. I believe that such behaviour only elevates me for many have observed the actions of this messenger. I know that the universe has a supply for every demand and anything the mind can conceive and believe we can achieve. If the time is right for something to happen it is not the simple act of ‘destroying’ another’s posters that will elevate the candidate of such behaviour to the level of being appreciated and recognized by the people he represents. Also I reiterate, it is illegal and fraudulent to have people from another constituency vote for one in an area in which they do not legally reside.

It should be borne in mind that many have climbed the ladder to positions but despite holding the position they have not been extended any appreciation or approval from the people they are supposed to be heading.
May those voting in the forthcoming elections think carefully of the consequences resultant from their choices, for to have change in the areas in which we reside we have to choose candidates who by their actions have been consistent in their service to the nation over the years. We should choose people who genuinely have the well-being of the people they represent at heart. May all those in positions be alert so as to stop corruption prior to it occurring and permit the residents of the various areas to vote for those whom they believe will help improve their conditions not only for specific areas but to ensure that certain legislation is changed to encompass prevalent conditions. Let the 2022 vision become a reality. We can each make a small difference which will lead to a huge difference. Let us leave such destructive behaviour in the past and move forward with optimism.
