INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, THE GREATEST ASSET FOR MANKIND
Sir,
I once argued that all you need to succeed in life is a functional brain. (If you missed the article you can find it on my Facebook page). Now, let me elaborate on the ‘HOW’ aspect of my argument.
Your brain is capable of thinking anything of your choice which means the decision of the thoughts you think is solely your prerogative.
Now when your brain conceives it’s called a dream and it usually ends by being a dream unless your hands decide to get involved too and turn the dream into a reality.
Your hands, your brain and the third parameter, time, are the only ingredients appropriately used by all successful individuals. After you have thought of your brilliant idea it’s useless unless you act on it and turn it into reality. What do your hands touch? The object that you touch the most combined with the motive for touching it gives the formula to success or failure.
The third parameter, time, is what have misled most individuals to failure. Procrastination kills more dreams than we realizs, a five-year investment sounds like eternity as the buzzword on the street is “YOLO”, and within a blink of an eye five years is gone and then regrets start, had I invested in this five years ago today I would be this and that.
That’s the wrong mindset, the thing you should be thinking about is the future, it is useless looking back and regretting if you are not going to act on it.
Instead of regretting about the past mistakes of your life concentrate on avoiding them in future and also add a plan for the next 5 years as used in this example. Your hands are always busy so is your brain.
It is human nature not to allow any void. If you don’t use your brain to think positive thoughts your hands will have nothing to do and hence nothing productive will be an outcome but the time parameter does not stop.
Think positive thoughts, act on them, don’t worry much about the time it will take to reap the rewards because time is out of your control just live your life one day at a time.
