EEC’S CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Sir,
Allow me to vent out my frustrations at the terrible service that we are currently getting from our sole supplier of electricity in the country.
The service they provide is shambolic at best and they continue to get away with it by asking us all to be patient.
But honestly, how much patience can one exercise when one is encountered with rotten monthly supplies every time one opens the fridge because there has been no electricity for the past three days?
How much patience are we supposed to exercise when we are provided with slow platforms through which it takes an eternity to even lodge a complaint?
Rude
And worse yet, the call centre attendants are rude to you after putting you on hold for the longest time.
This is honestly sad because we purchase these electricity units - which they charge us an arm and a leg for - and then receive such an poor service, which further compounds our misery.
Valuable
Suffice to say then that the small guy in the street is not considered a valuable customer by EEC because he is left without electricity for days after a storm, yet the big customers are attended to without any noticeable delay. Shame on you EEC, I hope you guys go to bed satisfied everyday that you provide the worst service possible.

NOTE: In an effort to afford the company the right to reply, this letter was emailed to them on February 5, 2019 but unfortunately there has been no response. However, it should be stated that the company, through an advert in the media, is notifying the public that it is conducting a customer satisfactory survey across the country.
