ABSENTEEISM AT PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Madam,

One wonders why the National Psychiatric Hospital management is failing to apply the no-work-no-pay rule on its staff members. Staff members at this facility absent themselves as they wish. There is completely no supervision of staff at this health institution.

Staff members come late for work and break as early as 1pm.
Another thing that is an anomaly at this hospital is that the supervisors give the staff members stars as permission to be absent. What is happening?
The hospital does not send hourly timesheet schedules with stars to the Ministry of Health but these are kept secretly at the hospital. And this has given the staff members free reign to do as they please.

One wonders what the responsibilities of the nurse managers are. You may not believe me that even the nurse managers and members of the hospital management report late for work. Who told the doctors, pharmacy staff and occupational therapy staff members to report for work late? The Ministry of Health must do something about this because it is becoming unbearable.
