UNITY OF THE CHURCH NEEDED
Sir,
We shall bow down to no evil power or principality, we shall bow down only to God the most high, who by His mercies and love has elected human spiritual principalities among us to eradicate darkness from humanity by holy command in such a season of His grace and His glory.
For this to happen in speed, the church should unite in spirit, truth, love and in faith.
Even those who are in darkness and yet believe, they should ask and wish in their hearts that God should raise great principalities to their reach, so that when they run away from darkness all chains will be broken instantly and darkness will have nothing in them anymore.
Authority
This is because a higher authority in God’s Kingdom is needed to destroy the higher authority of darkness. Otherwise those who are deep in darkness are afraid to run away because they fear for their lives and lives of their loved ones. For them, there is a need for a guarantee that the ‘powerful’ darkness they know will have no grip if they decide to abandon it instantly.
Power
Even though upon receiving Christ, they should fear Him not who has power to destroy only the body but then they may fear for their families too and stay imprisoned by darkness.
But there is hope in the unity of the church.
Because of religion still existing in the Christian faith, and false teachers controlling the mind of people through selfish ministry, Christians are skeptical to unite.
However, the unity of the church is needed. Where the church finds itself believing and practising one doctrine of Christ and going towards one direction at all times. This is necessary for people who have the same master.
Spirit
They don’t need to be friends, and associates but even without knowing each other, Christians may be united and one in character and spirit. Even if denominations may be different, still such unity is very much possible.
We know that those who crucified Jesus were religious leaders, believing that they were doing God a service by killing Jesus and later his followers and as means to preserve the ways of the Jews.
But God says He never knew them. Jesus says, as in those days, so shall it be in the last days, therefore repent, turn back from evil.
