NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD
Sir,
Another trillion dollar reason that keeps us all smiling regardless of the unpalatable effects of the COVID-19 pandemic is the very fact that there is nothing impossible with God. Luke 1:37 states it clear that with God nothing is in absolute of being impossible. This disperses the amalgamation of negative thoughts that cross our minds every time we contemplate on the results and outcomes of this deadly and worldly pandemic.
Despite the fact that some of us have their hearts broken beyond repair as now and again people have pointed figures against each other, they disregard the fact that with God there is nothing impossible. This has tested the veracity of our faith and trust in God; we tend to think that we love and adore Him yet our actions do not tally with what He expects from us.
Optimistic
I wonder if we do have optimistic citizens in the kingdom who really believe that amidst of the pandemic, God is in control over everything. This needs no angels to descend from heaven to remind us that we should swallow the bullet and continue trusting Him.
Faith
With faith, all this is possible. Faith remember; is believing in things that you have never touched nor seen, but have the guts to continue believing. This is no man’s joke!
With faith within us and bearing in mind that there is nothing impossible with God, we hold the belief that soon the pandemic will be a fairytale to us. We are hopeful that the world will be delivered from such a pain that has seen an endless number of people, losing their friends, family members and loved ones. For now, our faith is put to the test and we should understand that.
One instance in the Bible, Peter saw Jesus walking on water. He said that if that is you Lord, allow me to do likewise and come to you and Jesus said let it be. However, in a short moment Peter started drowning. The fact that Peter didn’t believe that indeed he was walking on water made him to drown. There are certain things that sometimes we should believe because God said there is nothing impossible with Him. We shouldn’t be dismayed nor afraid.
Today we are speaking of an escalating number of positive people and healthcare facilities full beyond maximum capacity. This is the time where only the fittest survive; if you can’t stand on your own, you die because everyone doesn’t want people to lean on them. It is painful outside! There are some who, as a result of the pandemic, are constantly losing their loved ones. There are serious dilemmas. This is when some people would stop even believing that there is nothing impossible with God.
We need people who, in such a time, would stand up for the word of God. Who will stand up and pray for the kingdom of Eswatini. Yes! A lot has happened and we have been left with perennial scars. But as this is happening, we should never forget that there is God and in Him, nothing is impossible!
