DON’T FRET, GOD ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES

Sir,

Our kingdom is home for thousands of infants, adolescents and adults, each stumbling against odds of various kinds to acquire a life of no pain but full of honey. We are a nation of Christians, so says our religious curriculum and way of life. We praise and worship only one God, He who created heavens and earth. He is a Father, a Saviour and a Messiah. Some call Him the Omniscient and Omnipresent God. He is faithful, He loves and He provides. We believe all came through Him; what we have, what we see and all we hope for.

Word

When you read Jeremiah 1 verse 5, His Word tells us that before we were formed, He knew us, and before we were born, He consecrated us. We are also told that He further appointed us prophets of nations. In other words, God knew our forefathers and fathers, and their spouses, before they even became acquainted with each other. He knew our conception and confinement dates before doctors could even estimate them. He knew our gender and race, family and friends, and our neighbours and societies before all came to light. The Word says God appointed us prophets; He sent us to teach and deliver His messages from generation to generation. He didn’t create us to lead a life with no direction; He has a purpose He sent us to serve. From knowing the environment we were to grow up in; what we were to learn; what we were going to do; and all we were to go through, He located the right people to uplift us from all hindrances which limit us from fulfilling His purpose. His timing is always on point.

Purpose

God knows where you should grow, how you should look, relevant parents and siblings you should have and possessions you should acquire so you can serve His purpose. He knows what you have to go through so you can be and do as He wants you to.  He knows where you should go, what you should see and who you should meet to be the kind of person He wants you to be. God knew us before we came. The Lord knows all your upcoming pains, and He has prepared your source of joy. He knows all your next illnesses, and He has stored most effective remedies. He knows all your hard work and sleepless nights, and that you’ll give it your all and fail. He has prepared a single brilliant opportunity which will bring forth your moment of great success and satisfaction. God knows some day someone will walk into your life and make you cry, and He also knows that another will come to wipe away those tears and give you endless and unconditional love.

Plan

Our God has a plan for everything, He is never mistaken. He can never give us more than we can handle. Sometimes He put us into situations and introduces people just to test how much we trust and believe in Him. He knows our desires, strengths and weaknesses. He has prepared our lives in phases, which will all happen when the time is right. As long as we believe in Him, have faith in His ways, stay true to His paths and always pray to thank Him for His blessings and ask for His guidance and protection, His will come to pass in our lives. We will come into contact with all He has stored for us. He is a true God and He always keeps His promises.
