WEALTH BEGINS WITH CONTENTMENT

Sir,

Hope can hide, ego and pride, go hand in hand. Moments are meant to be savoured. Words - spoken or read,  create the being that is you. Everything is new and those experiences are a stamp of who you are. What you are is exemplified by your actions. How you react is critical to your future. Should you be rash, chances are, you’ll end up either in jail or six feet under. If you are lucky, you will be crippled ... literally.

Calmness

On the other hand, your calmness and open-mindedness could have far reaching consequences too; you could end up a philosopher, writer or even a coder. Luckily, this is not code. It is said that necessity is the mother of innovation. So too is hunger - a combination critical to achieving happiness. For in happiness,there is success. Do not make the mistake of thinking success is tied to material wealth. Wealth begins with contentment. If you are content then you will be happy. If you are happy, you will succeed. Happiness brings a certain kind of confidence. With confidence you are unstoppable. When you are confident, no task is too great. A person who is confident and happy will have a lot including wisdom. Wisdom is not for fools. Even a wise man asks questions. It is often said ‘the wise seek knowledge yet the fool thinks they have it all’.

Wisdom

Alas, with knowledge and wisdom you have a lot. If you have a lot, you will want to share, unless, of course, you are greedy. That is a topic for another day. It is amazing that you learn what you have never been taught. There is no greater teacher than life itself. If you are willing to learn, you will have a lot. You will not lack, for those who lack are those who think they are too great to work. Do not make that mistake. Work even if it seems you are diving into an endless pit. The great cycle of life will bring you back to the starting point. Then you can share your experiences. It is good to share.

Sharing is caring. By putting oneself in a position to have or acquire more of what is currently in your possession, you automatically feed the need to know one’s worth in the greater society.By knowing your worth or stock you level up to a playing field in which you have to face your fears on a daily basis. And in overcoming those fears you achieve happiness. Happiness brings greatness. In greatness your name is remembered; glorified in gold and etched in people’s hearts for bringing back hope that had long dissipated.

Striving

In striving to make good of your life, you come across situations that require the expertise of others. It is wise to make good of this expertise. However, in so doing, keep it in mind to make great the next person. For in helping another reach their potential, you build loyalty. Loyalty brings innovation. People enjoy working towards a common purpose. Avoid making work feel like a chore. Just as it feels unlike work to you because of your passion, so too should it feel the same for your people. By allowing them to be creative, you build in them trust to bring your vision to life.  Remember, your vision is theirs too, that’s why you need their particular expertise; without it you are nothing. With it, you are a winning team with a winning formula. Make good with people and they will make good with you.
