The David Simelane case is our own soapy

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

Sir,

Prophet Gcina Mtsetfwa, who is a good friend of mine, recently said he was willing to anoint this man to be a pastor since he was now born again. He also said he was prepared to stay with him should he be released from prison.

The prophet was also contemplating to make a documentary movie about this man, he is smart and he realised the opportunity that has been created by this man.

If he ever succeeds, the prophet will become a billionaire for partnering with a person like David Simelane and I agree with him that movie producers would buy this story with lucrative packages.

To the relatives and friends of the deceased, please forgive him and let it go since the case has dragged for a long time.

I am not trying to make fun of this case but I find it fit to liken it to the popular soap opera, which has been on our small screens since I was still very young, and it’s endless.

Inconclusion this indicates and given a clear picture of how our system of justice can fail the very same people it is supposed to save.

Amazed
