IT WON’T BE EASY TO REACH VISION 2022

Sir,

One can never hide the happiness of having a King with vision, a King who always calls his people to the round table once there are disputes or something.

Your Majesty, thanks for taking care of your people. My concern today, though, is that I think unfortunately there are people with a different vision from that of the King.
We cannot run away from that.

As the King declared the countdown to Vision 2022 during the opening of the first session of the Tenth Parliament, I wonder if it will ever happen because of the people he is working with.

Look at the Lubombo Referral Hospital; it’s been some years since the King said it must be constructed, yet even today nothing has been done.
Look at decentralization; the King said government must go to the people. How many rural areas experienced that? Nothing, people still go to Mbabane offices.

I want to say, if we also want to see the country attaining First World status in status, let us allow SPTC to operate without any problem. We want fair competition for our companies as we count down to 2022.

Lastly, I am a person who is scared of being embarrassed.
