SWAZI SEX WORKER MURDERED IN SA
MBABANE - A Swazi sex worker has been killed in the Republic of South Africa by a client during payment at her residence.
Nomsa Dlamini (25) arrived in South Africa as a jobseeker but later resorted to sex work after life became tough.
Reports so far are to the effect that Dlamini was strangled and later robbed by her client.
The man is said to have paid with a R200 note after the sex session and asked for change.
Change
It is alleged that the Swazi woman took out her moneybag which contained a sum of R2 000 as she tried to make change for her client.
Over eight sex workers have been killed in South Africa since July 2014, which has seen the sex workers’ association spring to action in fear that there could be growing hatred against sex workers in that country.
A Swazi truck driver who was familiar with the deceased revealed the matter in an interview.
South African police have said there were over eight incidents whereby sex workers have been killed in South Africa this year.
They said they were still investigating the killings.
They could not confirm whether a Swazi was among sex workers.
