MHLATANE HEAD GIRL SHINES

PIGG’S PEAK – Nomcebo Mncina is a classic example of a pupil who excelled at everything she did during her time at Mhlatane High School.

She is one of the five top pupils in the country who excelled under the Swaziland General Certificate of Secondary Education (SGCSE).
Mncina was not only an excelling pupil at Mhlatane High School but she was also the head girl.

She also helped her school attain championship during the schools debate which was sponsored by Buy Cash Hardware last year.
During her school’s speech and prize day, she is one of the few pupils who was on her feet moving up and down to receive certificates for excelling in all her subjects.

According to a list released by the Ministry of Education and Training showing how pupils fared countrywide, Mncina obtained total aggregate of eight points. Dr Mandla Dlamini, the Head teacher at Mhlatane High School, was overly excited when he heard that Mncina was among the top five pupils.

“To be honest with you, I am not surprised,” said Dlamini.
He said considering the way the pupil had excelled in her previous work, it had been known all along that she would obtain excellent results.
