MBABANE – Once popular TV show hosted by gospel music artist Mduduzi ‘Gawuzela’ Simelane dubbed ‘Makhelwane Simbona Ngetento’ will be coming back on our screens.

The TV show was removed from Swazi TV following concerns that Simelane could be using it as a campaigning platform in 2013.
News of the TV show hitting screens again came to the fore when Simelane received about 20 blankets from Inkhosikati LaNkambule yesterday at Ludzidzini Royal Residence.

His suspended TV programme formed part of the list of beneficiaries from the Inkhosikati.
Simelane, in an interview after receiving the blankets, revealed that he has been in constant communication with Swazi TV management regarding the possibility of the programme returning on air.

Simelane said the deliberations were at an advanced stage and were fruitful.
“I can safely say that not long from now, viewers will see the programme back on their screens. By the look of things, it will be much bigger and organised than before. We are looking at having more partners and a strong leadership this time around, which will soon be revealed,” he said.

He did not specify when exactly Swazi TV viewers could expect the programme to start airing.
“All I can ask is that those who have an interest in partnering with us should not hesitate. They should take this opportunity and be part of those who wish to give a hand to the needy,” he said.
