MBABANE – The security company which offered services at the premises of kidnapped businessman Almor Oliveira should cross its fingers that he is found alive.

This comes after the wife of the businessman, through his company Swaziland Scrapyards, trading as MTC Properties, wrote a letter to the security firm where she stated that they would be paid when the businessman returns.

“When Mr. Oliveira comes back we will facilitate payment,” reads part of the letter that was written to the security firm.
The company which was offering the security services is Lingangane Protection Services (PTY) Limited.

This stringent condition by Swaziland Scrapyards follows a demand by the director of the security company.
“We write to advise that the payment for the month of May is still outstanding. This is despite numerous visits to your offices to request same but nothing is forthcoming,” reads part of the letter written by the manager of the security firm indentified as S. Gama.

According to Gama, the payment was now overdue since it was supposed to be facilitated at the end of May. The security firm has since decided to take the legal route.  Through its lawyer Mzwandile Dlamini, it has issued summons against Swaziland Scrapyards where it is demanding over E45 000.

The exact amount which the security firm is demanding is E45 835.33. According to a notice of application for a default judgment, the money is in respect of security services it rendered at the businessman’s premises.
Lingangane Protection Services now wants this amount to be paid with an interest of nine per cent.
