MBABANE – A Swazi model who is leaving with albinism has been reported missing.

Nicole Takhona Dludlu (21) from Mpolonjeni was reported missing by her mother in December 2017.
A formal statement of her disappearance was made on January 6 this year at the Mbabane Police Station.

The last time she was home was onDecember 15, 2017, according to her mother who acknowledged though that this was not the first time that her daughter had disappeared without informing them where she was headed to.
Her mother, Ntathu Dludlu said her daughter left home in December after only informing her that she was going to apply for a bank ATM card with one of the banks.

She requested her mother to give her all the required documents which she was not in possession of when applying for the ATM card.
Nicole left behind her eight-month-old baby on the day she was last seen and she was not carrying any clothes but only her handbag.

“We once made a plea on TV, asking her to come back home but got no feedback. I do not sleep at night thinking of my daughter. Her disappearance is worrying me because we have not spoken to her since the day she left. Her phone rings unanswered every time we call her,” Ntathu said. The mother went on to ask her daughter to contact them even if there was something bothering her.

Ntathu stated that there was no sin in the world that could not be forgiven but she only wanted to know if Nicole was alive and well. When her boyfriend was called by the family, he informed them that he last saw her three days ago. Worried Ntathu was at the Mbabane Police Station again yesterday to enquire if the police had any leads on her missing daughter.

Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Khulani Mamba confirmed that an enquiry docket of a missing person had been opened.
“When the matter was reported to us we made an announcement on the Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Service (SBIS).

This is not the first time she has left home according to her mother. Anybody who may know where she is can call her mother at 76048989 or they can call me at 76062312. If she is out there we plead with her to reach out to her family as they are worried,” Mamba said.
