MY WIFE IS IN LOVE WITH MY EX-DRIVER – BUSINESSMAN
MANZINI – A businessman has approached the court for a peace binding order interdicting his former driver from calling or coming near his wife.
The businessman, Joseph Do Santos (63) of Ngwane Park, in his affidavit, filed at the magistrates court, reveled that he was legally married to Cebsile Pretty Dlamini (20) since 2013 and they both stayed in Ngwane Park, their matrimonial home.
The businessman runs trucking and blockyard businesses in the city. He mentioned that it had come to his attention that his wife was having an adulterous affair with Siyabonga Mhlanga (25) of Gundvwini who used to be his driver, something which he had documented evidence to, in the form of pictures exchanged between the two.
“I tried talking to the two of them several times even involving all our families, however, they still continue seeing each other. What is more paining is the fact that she steals my money and gives it to her lover,” Dos Santos alleged.
“I now pray to the honourable court to grant me an order against Siyabonga not to come anywhere near my wife and also my premises, at work and even at home. I also do not want them to contact each other using their cell phones,” the businessman said in the affidavit. The businessman further informed the court that when he first discovered that the two allegedly had an affair in November, last year while driving to Lomahasha in his van.
Trucks
He said while following one of his trucks, which was driven by Mhlanga, he saw his wife seated on the passenger’s seat and reacting with a smile while Mhlanga drove recklessly next to his vehicle.
“The boyfriend further sent me funny pictures on my cellphone, proving that he was above me. This infuriated me because it had already come to my attention that they were in a love relationship,” Do Santos said.
He added that his wife had, on several occasions allegedly stolen his automated teller machine (ATM) cards to buy Mhlanga expensive items and further spoil him at his expense.
After summons had been issued to Mhlanga, he told the court that he had a meeting with the Dlamini family and it was the last day he saw the businessman’s wife.
He further mentioned that his former girlfriend had already changed phone numbers after buying new sim cards and it was not true that he was still communicating with her.
It was also gathered that before the businessman learnt about the affair, his other children allegedly ordered that a meeting be held as they also felt disrespected by their stepmother and her alleged boyfriend, who were at the time not interested in hiding their relationship. It also emerged that the businessman had previously taken the matter to the Gundvwini Royal Kraal, where Mhlanga originates, however, it proved to be dragging, hence his decision to take it to court.
The court ordered that Mhlanga was restrained from calling or coming near the second respondent, Cebsile, wife to the businessman.
