MANZINI – After waking up to news that he was allegedly wanted by the police, Shafee Vinho Myeni decided to hand himself over to the law enforcers.

Other media houses alleged that he was wanted while another revealed the police wanted to warn the 21-year-old Building Science student at Swaziland College of Technology (SCOT). This was after videos which he created went viral on social media, with some people commenting that they were frightening.

Yesterday at about 9:30am, Myeni, who was accompanied by a friend, headed to Mbabane Police Station, where he ‘surrendered himself’ to a team of police officers.

Myeni, who is also a model and a soccer player, was sternly warned not to upload video clips with dangerous stunts as they would lead to other people, especially children, wanting to do same. He is alleged to have told the police that the videos had been uploaded on his Facebook  (Fb) profile and were personal.

Myeni, who spent about an hour at the police station, is said to have  apologised to the police and said despite his FB profile being private, it was a pity the clips had gone viral and it was not his intention.
“What if someone’s child or children get injured while trying to perform similar stunts in public roads?” Myeni was allegedly asked by police officers.

It also emerged during the questioning sessions that some police officers from the region who were nearby witnessed the shooting of the scenes, however, they were not specifically called for that.
The videos were shot near Riverstone Mall and Mkhosi Township.

Meanwhile, Chief Police Information and Communications Officer, Superintendent Khulani Mamba, who condemned such acts and said they may cause serious incidents, even if they were real or not confirmed that Myeni was questioned by a team of police yesterday morning.
