MBABANE - As if the country was yet to hold the 50/50 Double Celebrations, which have already been celebrated, hundreds of EmaSwati yesterday crammed Lozitha Palace to shower the King with birthday gifts (tetfulo).

These included people from all age groups, the youngest being a six-year-old, while the eldest was 75 years old.
In random interviews the nation shared the same sentiments that presenting the King with gifts was the sign to show loyalty and appreciation for the Monarch.

Noted was that the majority of companies and individuals opted for cattle, while others preferred valuable items, including sofas, Air fridges and bicycles.  There were also items of sentimental value such as portraits and photographs.
When this report was compiled at 4 pm, people were still registering with the King’s gifts at the palace. Over 80 cattle were already at the palace.
