CONSUL’S WIFE OPPOSES HUBBY’S MOVE TO GAIN TRIPLETS’ CUSTODY

MBABANE – The Honorary Consul for Denmark and envoy for the government of Denmark, Per Sonne Noddeboe’s wife is opposed to his application to be granted custody of their triplets pending the divorce proceedings.

Per Sonne is in the process of divorcing his wife, Amanda Jane Noddeboe (born Parsons) for alleged desertion.
She filed a notice to oppose and is yet to file her responding affidavit by today.

Amanda is represented by Makhosi Vilakati in the matter.
The children attend school in Denmark.
According to Per Sonne, Amanda resides in London, United Kingdom.

Message

She allegedly sent her husband an electronic mail message at the end of last month informing him that she was afraid that he would take their triplets to Eswatini and never return them to Denmark.
Amanda said she was aware that the plan was for the children to spend the holidays in Eswatini but their circumstances had changed since this was first discussed.

She allegedly informed him that she had concerns that if she were to give him the children’s passports, he would take them from Denmark to Eswatini for good.
“The thought really terrifies me and it is for that reason that I feel that I cannot give you their passports,” reads the message.
Amanda informed Per Sonne in the message that his suggestion that she should come to Eswatini was not practical.

She stated that she never considered this country as her home and had no intention of returning here.
She said if they could agree certain safeguards, she would be prepared to let the children to spend time with their father in Eswatini.
Amanda allegedly told Per Sonne that upon the children’s return to Denmark, a third party would collect their passports and return them to her. She said she was worried about giving him the children’s passports.
As per his combined summons, Per Sonne is seeking an order that Amanda should restore conjugal rights to him failing which a final decree of divorce be issued.
