WOMAN FOUND DEAD AFTER 2 RIVALS PLAN TO SORT HER OUT
MBABANE – A burnt body of a woman was found in a shallow grave shortly after she was lured to Lomahasha by two men who were allegedly in a love relationship her.
The body of Nozipho Dlamini (34) was discovered at Mpundvwini Mountain by a group of men who were searching for beehives. Patrick Mahlalela said they saw something protruding from the ground and suspected that it was the hand of a monkey.
He said they tried to pull it out but discovered that it was an arm of a human being. The incident happened at Matfuntini in the Lubombo Region in 2016.
The veracity of these allegations, which are contained in an indictment, is still to be tested in court.
Dlamini had travelled to Matfuntini from her parental homestead in Hlatikulu after she was allegedly invited by Vusi Magagula, who was a kombi driver, to visit him.
Magagula is one of the men who were allegedly in a love relationship with Dlamini. The other man is allegedly Zama Simelane of Mbelebeleni under Chief Mtfonga.
Magagula alleged that he proposed love to Dlamini after she separated from Simelane.
The conductor in the kombi that was driven by Magagula, Tsepo Gamedze of Mambane in the Lubombo Region, alleged that he knew about the relationship between Magagula and Dlamini as she would visit him from time to time.
According to the conductor, while Dlamini and Magagula were relaxing in the kombi, she received a call from a man and the latter was infuriated. Magagula dialled the number to establish who the caller was and he discovered that it was Simelane.
Gamedze stated that Magagula and Simelane arranged to meet at a later date to discuss the issue of being allegedly double-crossed by Dlamini. The conductor alleged that the two men met and discussed the matter in Magagula’s kombi and hatched a plan to lure Dlamini to Lomahasha to sort her out for ‘making fools out of them.’
Magagula, according to Gamedze, allegedly volunteered to call Dlamini and invite her to visit him.
