BUS CONDUCTOR NOMINATED FOR MP

PIGG’S PEAK – There is a common saying in Pigg’s Peak that if you throw 10 stones in different directions, one of those is likely to hit Sikelela Dlamini. Dlamini is a known figure because he previously worked as a bus rank marshal, also known as ‘mashela’. He was then promoted to as bus conductor.

Yesterday, Dlamini become one of the four people who were nominated for the position of MP to compete with Jabulani Mabuza, Hlobisile Ndlovu and Nokunceda Bujela. In his own words, he said, “I grew up at the bus rank”.
