ASPIRING WOMEN MPS SUPPORT SALARY CUTS
MBABANE – “Let’s have those pay cuts to bolster the economy.” The regional female aspirant Members of Parliament for the Hhohho Region, in unison, supported that the remuneration of politicians be reduced to bolster the economy.
The aspiring legislators, who lost during the National Elections held in the past two months, supported the idea that those who were well-remunerated should have their salaries reduced so that the difference could be contributed to other basic needs that would better the lives of tax-payers.
