3 POISONED, ONE DIES

MBABANE – Three families have been left with more questions than others after their children unintentionally ingested a poisonous substance that claimed a life of one of them.

The three friends, who are well-known in the Mbabane circles, went to one of the famous shows which took place the previous weekend on Saturday.
Upon their return in the early hours, they proceeded to a funeral where they also enjoyed some alcoholic beverages which they continued drinking even after the funeral.

Even though information is still scanty, the friends started falling sick after having the alcoholic drink but managed to quickly rush to hospital in the vehicle they were travelling in.

One of the boys is said to have died while undergoing treatment, the other remains critical at the Mbabane Government Hospital.
The third is still too traumatised to talk, according to those who are privy to the details.

He was treated and discharged but when he was asked by the other family members and friends what had happened, they could not get much from him.

Friends

The suspected poisonous substance found in the system of the two friends was allegedly the same one found in other socialites who passed away recently.
The little information gathered from the one who was treated and discharged, was that the three started feeling sick and were vomiting before the two became unconscious.

Allegations are that the one who survived drove his friends to hospital with the vehicle which belonged to the family of the friend who passed away.
Nobody, for now, seems to know where the three boys were during the day of the incident, and what they ate which may have caused the death of one of their friends.

A family member to the deceased, who asked not to be named, stated that they wanted answers of how their brother died.
Another family member stated that they wanted to know which poison did the two ingested and if it was a drug, they wanted to know which one could have killed one and left the other admitted.
