MBABANE – As he strives to venture into Artificial Intelligence, the country’s top pupil, Sinengcebo Thembelihle Dlamini, was expecting good results.

Thembelihle, however, said he had not seen himself surpassing his capabilities by such a great margin. He was placed at position two countrywide, with aggregate 95 per cent and is happy that at last the trial and error had finally paid off in such a good fashion. “It is actually an overwhelming feeling that I fail to search for words to describe,” he said. According to Thembelihle, what motivated him to work hard was the drive to become something substantial in the future, since as it was said that the best way to predict the future was to create it, hence it made him strive for perfection each time he wore his school uniform.

He said he started preparing for the examinations at the beginning of the year because it had always been a culture for his school to write examination preparation tests every Friday after lessons. This, he said, made it easier for him to always stay on his toes with his studies. Thembelihle said he believed that serious studying did not exist for him because he believed in consistency, which was why there was no need to be serious.
