25 NEW CASES, DEATHS STAND AT 98

MBABANE – The country recorded 25 new COVID-19 cases and 41 recoveries yesterday.  
The cases were confirmed by the Minister of Health, Lizzie Nkosi.


The total number of cases in the country is 5 075.  
Manzini Region had the highest number of cases as it recorded 13 followed by Hhohho with seven while Shiselweni had three and two from the Lubombo Region.
From the confirmed cases, 19 presented with mild symptoms while six were asymptomatic.
The youngest case was one in the 10 to 19 age bracket while the eldest was one in the 70 to 79 years group.


The total number of recoveries in the country is now 4 229 after the 41 that were recorded yesterday.
This means that current active cases are 748. There is a difference of 3 481 between active cases and recoveries in favour of the latter.  There were no deaths that were recorded yesterday as the tally stands at 98.
