MBABANE – Overwhelmed, joyful and surprised were some of the emotions expressed by St Francis and KaBoyce Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level pupils who passed with flying colours.

The pupils noted that despite the challenges that they had to be away from school and learn online, they did not let the predicament stand in their way to success. Also, they attributed their success to the determination and hard work of their teachers, who motivated them to work even harder. St Francis High School Head teacher Sisana Simelane, commended the pupils, whom she said did remarkably well at a time of the year, where there had been challenges exerted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Simelane said both pupils and teachers were determined to achieve great results compared to the past years amid the situation they were facing. She said the pupils scored As, Bs and Cs.

On the other hand, KaBoyce High School Head teacher Lungelo Nhlengethwa, reiterated Simelane’s statement, adding that compared to last year, the results were outstanding and most pupils did well in Mathematics. Nhlengethwa said despite having challenges with teachers, the school had to change its strategy.
