THREATS TO BOMB KMIII AIRPORT: LET THEM COME - PM
SIKHUPHE - Let them come, they will get what they want!
This a warning from the Prime Minister (PM), Cleopas Dlamini, to people who are said to be planning to bomb aircraft at King Mswati III International Airport. After briefing the media about the discussions which took place during the 35th Assembly of Heads of State and Governments of the African Union (AU), which was held between February 5 and 6, 2021 at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he represented the King, the PM was asked about the aforementioned threats.
Wondered
The PM said they wondered what the people, who were planning to bomb the airport, would benefit after carrying out their plan. He said the question they have was; for what useful purpose? Again, he said they also wondered if these were people who would claim that they wanted to help emaSwati by destroying what they had. “Nangibuka, akusibo bantfu labaphilako - I do not think that these are people who are mentally stable,” the PM said.
Bomb
Thereafter, he said if they wanted to bomb the airport, they should come and they would get what they wanted because they were not mentally stable. “Nangabe bafuna kuta, abete batohlangana naloku labakufunako ngoba vele abaphili,” the premier said in vernacular. On another note, the PM was asked about his level of preparedness to lead government to implement what the King said when he officially opened the 4th session of the 11th Parliament, he said they were yet to sit down as an administration and look at the budget. Thereafter, the PM said they would work on the projects and mentioned that since they fell under different ministries, some of them would be carried out simultaneously.
