STOCK IN SOME SHOPS REMOVED

MBABANE – Businesspeople in the country are treading carefully amid the uncertainty over today’s activities.

As of yesterday, some businesses mostly operated by the Asian nationals, had removed stock in their shops and it is unknown if they will even open for business.In an interview with some of the Asian business owners, they stated that they did not want to suffer losses in the event looting occured and their businesses burnt, just like last year. Meanwhile, some people were also doing their shopping yesterday to avoid the trouble of finding themselves in a situation where they are without food.
