WOMAN ARRESTED FOR STABBING BOYFRIEND, KILLING RIVAL

MBABANE – A woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her love rival and the man they were fighting over.

As such, the love triangle ended tragically when the suspect allegedly inflicted a fatal wound on her rival, resulting in her death. The incident happened at Lafaro in Lobamba. Information gathered was to the effect that *Sonto felt cheated on after she received information that her boyfriend, who had left her in their rented flat, had disappeared with the deceased.It alleged that Sonto then searched for her boyfriend only to find him engaging in sexual intercourse with the woman inside a toilet situated within the compound.

Eyewitness alleged that Sonto stabbed the duo several times, resulting in the death of her love rival. His boyfriend has been admitted to the Mbabane Government Hospital, where he is receiving treatment, according to the eyewitnesses. The residents of the area shared that Sonto had unconfirmed suspicions about the duo’s affairs until she found them in the act inside the toilet. The residents stated that many people witnessed the incident since it took place at a drinking spot where there are also rented flats. Sonto has since recorded a confession at the Mbabane Magistrate Court. She is expected to appear in court today.
