WE’RE HERE TO HELP SOME PASTORS - SA TINYANGA
MBABANE – Two renowned South African tinyanga are in the country to, among other things, assist prominent pastors revive their powers.
Dr Khwesha Mfana and Dr Fohla Inyanga yesterday informed this publication that they came all the way from Jozini, ‘Kamhlabuyalingana, eButhonga, ezweni labathakathi’ to attend to their clients in Eswatini, a majority of who are pastors who lead prominent churches. Dr Fohla said they came to the country mostly at the instance of pastors ‘ukuzobaphakamisa namabandla abo’. He said their other clients were businesspeople who required assistance to win tenders, among other things, and individuals who seek employment, healing and other requirements.
Instance
“We have come to Eswatini at the instance of businesspeople and mostly pastors. Ikakhulu silethwe abafundisi njengoba nisibona (as you can see us, we were brought here by pastors). But we won’t reveal their identities,” Dr Fohla said. According to Dr Fohla, they will be in the country for a period of three days and they will attend to about 35 clients. He said they had been in the country for two days and they were busy moving up and down giving assistance to the people who called them. The two were travelling in a navy blue Ford Ranger with stickers of snakes and a calabash, which attracted the attention of members of the public.
Requirement
They said they were in the country to assist people who were in need of their services, such as job seekers, the sick and any requirement they might have. Dr Fohla said they had brought all that would be required by their clients. He also mentioned that apart from the about 35 people who called them to come to the country, they could attend to others who might contact them. He described Dr Khwesha Mfana as a traditional Zulu doctor.
He also mentioned that others visited their headquarters, ‘esgodlweni esikhulu’ in Jozini.
At first, the duo declined to reveal the identities of the pastors and businesspeople they came to the country to assist. However, they showed these reporters a few pictures they took with some of the pastors, which are believed to have been taken at their headquarters at ‘ezweni labathakathi’, as they called it. A picture of one of the prominent pastors, who is said to be a client of the duo was shown to these reporters, where he was seen carrying a snake.
Journalists from this publication found the traditional healers near the Supply Centre parking area, from there they proceeded to their next destination. Even though they seemed to be in a hurry, they agreed to give this publication an interview. The main man, Dr Khwesha Mfana had little to say and most of the information was given by his companion, Dr Fohla Inyanga. However, Dr Khwesha Mfana concurred with Dr Fohla Inyanga that they were in the country at the instance of pastors, businesspeople and others.
