2 HOSEA MEN DIE AFTER FIGHT OVER BUGANU

NHLANGANO – Two men who were fighting over marula brew died at Hosea.

The incident happened on Wednesday night while the duo was coming from a drinking spot in the same area.
It was revealed by sources who watched the whole incident unfold that the duo, *Sanele (34) and *Muzi (19), started by arguing over the ownership of the container which had marula brew as each of them claimed to own it. It was said that they started to be physical with each other until Sanele grabbed an object he used to hit Muzi on the head. Sources revealed that Muzi fell immediately and became unconscious, after which he was taken to hospital where he was certified dead.

Sources said the news of Muzi’s death reached his family members and relatives, who then went to attack Sanele. It was further revealed that Sanele was assaulted and kicked by Muzi’s family members in vengeance until he was weak. He was also attended to and taken to hospital where he died while receiving treatment yesterday.

Members of both families did not want to comment on the matter as they requested some privacy. However, Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Superintendent Phindile Vilakati confirmed the death of the two men aged 34 and 19. She said the 19-year-old died on Wednesday while the other aged 34 died yesterday.
