MTN’S SINYUS’ IVOLUME: GET UP TO 50% BONUS DATA
MANZINI - Bus fare and prizes galore!
About 300 passengers, who were commuting from the Manzini Bus Rank, went home all smiles after MTN Eswatini spoiled them with bus fare and prizes, including cash, airtime and merchandise. This was during the launch of MTN Eswatini Data Transformation Campaign themed, ‘Sinyus’ iVolume’, with up to 50 per cent bonus data. The activation took place at the Manzini Bus Rank yesterday. A total of three buses, five kombis and a sprinter had passengers’ fares covered by MTN. These were local and out of town routes, with fares ranging from E10 to as high as E83 per passenger. The routes included Zombodze, Ngcayini, Siteki, Mbekelweni, Matsamo and Mpolonjeni. Sibusisweni and Lobamba were also some of the routes covered.
The bus rank activations started at Nhlangano/Mbabane bus ranks, and proceeded to the Mbabane Bus Rank followed by Pigg’s Peak last month. The Manzini Bus Rank is the last visit by MTN.
MTN Eswatini Fintech CEO Sam Shongwe said they were excited to launch the prize transformation, and the theme of the campaign essentially meant customers would be able to speak longer and louder - hence the phrase; Sinyus’ iVolume. Shongwe said they had introduced bonuses of up to 50 per cent, which would enable customers to gain more value as they communicated with their loved ones. Meanwhile, MTN Acting Chief Marketing Officer Mandla Gule said in line with technological advancements, they were constantly exploring and implementing ways to provide digital services to emaSwati at affordable prices. He said every liSwati deserved the right to have access to internet at affordable prices, and the company was ensuring that. Sinyus’ iVolume allows customers to enjoy bonuses of up to 50 per cent when they buy data via MoMo. Customers can now purchase data bundles for as little as E3.
