The King, who is accompanied by Inkhosikati LaMagongo, left the country through King Mswati III International Airport yesterday afternoon, just after 2pm. According to https://www.zitf.org.zm, ZITF is the biggest trade and commercial exhibition in Zambia, which hosts both local and foreign exhibitors from all sectors of the economy with a view of enhancing global trade. Its vision is to be the leading and most preferred international exhibition house in Zambia and the Sub-region by 2021. The Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Newman Ntshangase also revealed that during the King’s State visit to Zambia, the country would sign about the 13 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).

He said some of the agreements, especially those from parastatals, would be signed remotely with the exception of Eswatini Investments and Promotion Authority (EIPA), which would be represented by its chief executive officer (CEO). One of the agreements to be signed will be for the establishment of a Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security between the government of the Kingdom of Eswatini and that of Zambia. Others include an MoU on Agricultural Cooperation between the two governments and another between the Zambia Development Agency and the EIPA.
