KING JETS OFF TO SA TO MEET RAMAPHOSA

SIKHUPHE – His Majesty King Mswati III yesterday left the country for Pretoria, South Africa, on a working invitation by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

The King is accompanied by Inkhosikati LaNkambule. Present to bid His Majesty farewell at the King Mswati III International Airport were Emakhosikati, Emazinyane, Prime Minister Russell Dlamini, Cabinet ministers, members of the diplomatic corps, libutfo and dignitaries.

According to a statement issued by Vincent Magwenya, Spokesperson to President Ramaphosa, the King is on a working visit and Ramaphosa will today meet His Majesty at Mahlamba Ndlovpfu, the president’s official residence in Pretoria. The spokesperson said the visit followed a courtesy visit by the president to Eswatini at Lozitha Palace, a fortnight ago. He mentioned that Eswatini shared long historical bonds as well as mutually beneficial political and trade relation ties. His Majesty is expected back into the country before the official celebration of the King’s Birthday to be held at Mankayane on Friday.
