KING MISUZULU BAPTISED BY SHEMBE LEADER UNYAZI LWEZULU
MBABANE - Zulu King, Misuzulu KaZwelithini, is born again.
The Zulu King, who had been a member of the Nazareth Baptist Church for years, became a fully-fledged member of the church through baptism, which took place during a two-week meeting held at Linda Ntonga over the weekend.
Baptised
He was baptised by His Holiness Unyazi Lwezulu Shembe, who leads the Nazareth Baptist Church, Buhleni. The baptism of the King was confirmed by local members of the church, who were part of the meeting and witnessed the activity. The baptism was also captured by the Enigmatic channel in South Africa. It was gathered that the Zulu King was baptised along with one of his brothers, his wife and six kings of tribes in South Africa. In an interview with a senior member of the church, Makhehleni Derrick Dlamini, he confirmed the Zulu King’s baptism. Dlamini said they took it that the Zulu King, who had been with the church, followed in his father King Zwelithini’s footsteps.
Dlamini stated that the King’s parents were confessed Christians under the Nazareth Baptist Church. “His baptism means he has been born again in the spirit. It means he is now a fully-fledged member of the church with a gown. “The Nazareth Baptist Church is the only church with a gown reserved for kings,” he said. The members of the Nazareth Baptist Church believe in Shembe as the African Messiah. The church believes that Shembe is the Holy Spirit that came down from Heaven and found a place in Isaiah, who founded the church in 1910.
The church believes that Shembe does not die, but finds a place in the flesh of the successor after the death of the leader. The church is currently under the leadership of His Holiness Unyazi Lwezulu. Dlamini said the King was baptised in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Worth noting is that the Zulu King had been in the country for two Sabbath services held at Ludzidzini Royal Residence.
Meeting
The Sabbath services formed part of the two-week meeting held by the church in the country. The King registered his appreciation for the church’s continued meetings in Eswatini and KwaZulu-Natal. He also registered his happiness about the next meeting, which was scheduled to take place at his royal residence. He stated that Shembe was the way to those who wanted prosperity and success.
