MATSAPHA – At least 100 vehicles belonging to government ministries and departments are lying idle at Matsapha Repair Centre.
The reason for the vehicle’s idleness varies as explained by officials from the Central Transport Administration (CTA) officials and Matsapha Repair Centre Workshop Manager Robert Clark.
Clark narrated that sometimes, it takes a long time for ordered spares to be delivered to them to actually commence with fixing the vehicles, hence the delay.
He also stated that sometimes it is on the part of government that the vehicles spend a lot of time at their depot because they only fix a vehicle on government’s instruction.
