MISSING MAN’S BODY FOUND DECAYING

PIGG’S PEAK - A man whose body was found in an advanced stage of decomposition has been discovered in the veld at Mavula, Mayiwane.

Elmon Bhuti Dlamini, who had been reported missing over two weeks ago, is believed to have died due to dehydration caused by the extreme hot weather conditions experienced in the region during that time. “The 87-year-old might have been tired after a long walk. We believe he collapsed and died because of dehydration,” said his brother, Timothy Dlamini. According to Timothy, Elmon met his death on his way back from South Africa, where he had gone to visit family members.

Residence

Due to the proximity of his area of residence to South Africa, Elmon is said to have walked there. However, his age and the lengthy distance to his home are suspected to have contributed to his demise. His body was discovered in an advanced state of decomposition.
