BUSINESSMAN, WIFE, CHILD KILLED, 2 ARRESTED

MBABANE – When reports of a businessman found dead emerged and his wife and daughter missing, there was hope they would be found alive. This publication can confirm that they have also been killed. According to earlier reports, the businessman, Jabulani Dlamini was found dead in a forest near Pigg’s Peak Town. This was after he had been missing for some time.

Footage

Initially, Dlamini, his wife and daughter were allegedly kidnapped last Saturday. Dlamini was a public transport operator. The daughter is said to have been doing Form V.
After he was kidnapped,  it was discovered that about E4 000 had been withdrawn from his account. Closed-circuit television footage  (CCTV) is said to have shown a person known to the family withdrawing money from an automated teller machine ( ATM). This is said to have led to the arrest of the first suspect. Before the arrest, the Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) released an image of the suspect as a wanted person. Hours after the release of the image, the man was arrested.

Motive

Yesterday, a second suspect was arrested and this publication exclusively gathered that the third suspect is still on the run. Also, it was gathered that the bodies of the businessman’s wife and daughter had been located. It could not be established immediately what the motive of the murders was. The Chief Police Information and Communications Officer Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati confirmed the arrest.
