Air-conditioner causes fire at the Old Mall

MBABANE - High temperatures at 31 degrees nearly caused damage at the Old Mall as air-conditioners overheated and one of them burst.

However, the quick response by the fire fighters served the day as the fire was extinguished.

Employees rushed in to remove the merchandise in fear of great disaster should the whole building catch the fire.

No serious damage was caused to the items and to the building as the situation was under control.
