MBABANE – The Royal Swaziland Police has set up two task teams to investigate the cases of the two missing children.

The missing children, aged six years and eight years were reported missing from Kudzeni, Zombodze and Ngculwini respectively. The announcement of the task teams was made by the National Commissioner of Police Isaac Magagula during a ceremony marking the closure of a training course for Police Sergeants.

The aim of the training course was to make the trainees more efficient and productive in their responsibilities. Magagula said it was regrettable that the incidents occurred just when the country, through UNICEF had recently launched the ‘No Violence Against Children’ campaign. “Over and above all the other efforts, we are also offering a cash reward of E80 000 for any information that will lead to the recovery of the children,” he said. Any person who has information that could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the people responsible for the children’s disappearance will receive a sum of E40 000 per child.
