‘Small Joe’ a favourite in Primary Elections

NHLANGANO – Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Mduduzi ‘Small Joe’ Dlamini was a favourite in his chiefdom during the Primary Elections.


In an interview, the minister said his commitment in serving the people’s interests while in Parliament was evident by the number of votes he acquired in the elections.


“I have proved myself as both a Member of Parliament and a Cabinet minister and the people of my chiefdom have seen that and extended the trust they have in me by electing me again.  I have my constituency and the country at heart.

“In my second term in Parliament I intend to continue working faithfully for the country contributing my abilities to taking the country to First World status by year 2022,” said the minister.


Dlamini also stated that most of the people in his constituency including those from other chiefdoms were said to be ready to send him to Parliament for a second term as there were many projects he intended to continue with which the people were very happy about. 
He said he was ready to take the people’s directive to Parliament.

When asked if he would win the Secondary Elections, Dlamini said it would be up to the people of Maseyisini to determine that.  
It was reliably gathered that a significant number of people at the Vusweni polling station were returned home due to the slow process of the elections.
