BUJELA CLAIMS HUBBY CALLED HER A KAFFIR

MBABANE – Former businesswoman of the year Nokunceda Bujela alleges that her husband Rudolph Manser called her a Kaffir.
The word Kaffir was used by the Afrikaners during the apartheid era in South Africa.

These are allegations contained in an affidavit whose veracity is still to be tested in court.
Bujela is wanted out of her marriage by the husband who alleges that she was involved in an extra-marital affair with the late former Mr Swaziland and businessman Thulani Matsebula. The application for the divorce is pending at the High Court.

Bujela and her husband own a number of businesses in the country and are owners of Manzini Waste Centre.
On Tuesday Manser, who is from Switzerland, filed an urgent application at the High Court where he alleged that Bujela had locked him out of their marital home situated at Thembelihle.

In her opposing papers she submitted that she tried by all means to revert their marriage to the status quo but to no avail. She alleged that Manser had gotten into the habit of constantly belittling her and hurling all sorts of insults.
“At one point he said to me I am useless, I am rubbish. He then stated that my mind does not work properly as I do things like a ‘kaffir’. This hurt me deeply even though I had suspected my husband was a racist and bigot. Comments from my family and friends suddenly became true,” she stated.

Bujela alleged that Manser refused to attend national events and family gatherings and would never socialise with her family and friends.
The businesswoman of the year  2009 also claims Manser only socialised with his white friends.
She alleged that when her mother passed on in March 2013, her husband did not bother to offer her any condolences and he did not approach her family or lift a finger towards helping.
Bujela alleged that he also did not attend the funeral.

The businesswoman alleged that she had long suspected that she was trophy and a conduit for her husband to legitimise himself in the Kingdom.
“The fateful day when he openly called me a kaffir and alluded that I have a second – rate brain, is the day I was shocked into realising that I was married to a true bigot and Nazi,” she stated.
She claims after she threatened to take the matter to the law enforcement authorities and the courts, her husband threatened her but when she did not bow down to his threats, he then wrote her an apology and sent her a love card.
Bujela submitted that having received the apology and the love message she was fooled into believing Manser was apologetic, not realising that it was an act designed to mislead her into false hope.

“It goes without saying that as soon as he was satisfied that I had been duped into believing that he was contrite and genuine in his apology and declaration of love, he then proceeded once again on the path of destroying my self-esteem and self-worth,  The words “you are useless” became the norm when addressing me,” she alleged.

Bujela stated that after having unlawfully removed her from their business Manser started to seek ways to frustrate her.
Manser is represented by Bonginkhosi Magagula from Magagula Attorneys while Sipho Nkhosi appears for Bujela.

@vuyiswa smallyboy maseko - Heck, hello!!

The guy married her. Obviously dirty laudry is going to come out, like with all divorces!

By throwing in the "racist" issue, just makes her look silly as an easy outcome.

Looking at this neutrally, she was emotionally abused to break her down. This happens to everyone in an abusive relationship, whether she was white, pink or man. People say nasty things when they break you down....
