MBABANE – Their Majesties are deeply touched by the demise of Her Royal Highness Princess Mncane.
The princess died last week. She was 68.

A memorial service in her honour was held yesterday at John Wesley Methodist Church at Msunduza here.
It was expected that she would be buried today at 5am at her home at Ekupheleni in the outskirts of Mbabane.
The specific name of the place where she would be buried is called Londunduma.

Prince Mbuyisa, representing royalty, said His Majesty the King ordered him to advise Princess Mncane’s family, relatives and friends not to grieve but rejoice and reflect over the good things the princess did when she was alive.
Her casket was not taken to the memorial service.
Only her portrait was there.

Princess Mncane was the daughter of King Sobhuza II and Inkhosikati LaShongwe.
King Sobhuza II had three children from Inkhosikati LaShongwe, namely Prince Khuzulwandle (first born); Princess Mncane and Prince Thumbumuzi (last born).
Prince Mbuyisa said even though it was a sad day, they should look back at what the princess achieved and imparted on them.

He said Her Majesty Indlovukazi was also concerned about the princess’s sickness till she passed away.
The prince said royalty was consoled by the fact that Princess Mncane was a genuine Christian who prepared for her eternal life when she was alive.
He quoted Psalms 23 which the princess liked that reads thus: “The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want.”

Prince Mbuyisa said His Majesty the King sent him to remind everyone present at the memorial service that the Lord would continue to be a shepherd for Princess Mncane’s children and grandchildren.
In this dark hour, he said, they should fix their eyes on Jesus Christ.
