THE POWER OF DELUSION

Anxiety has someone somewhere crippled, with their hands sweaty and their legs numb at the idea of ‘dreaming’. The story about their background is a silent whisper chasing away any idea that life can still turn out good, forcing them to succumb to the mind numbing thought process of what seems like reality.

Different people will use this differently, one may take this whisper as a constant reminder of reality and another may use it as a constant reference and reflection of who they truly are – both are bad – and they are also a walk into the shoes of a man who has lived life lacking at every juncture and seeing what could be a breakthrough only as a far-fetched idea for someone like them. This is where the fear of delusion is born. The idea that delusion is always entirely bad and that in discourse people should generally not be delusional and be ‘in check’.
Many people are victims, sitting idle at the mercy of this fear, holding onto it a little too tight because the world will call them crazy and out of their minds. The world will remind them who they are and where they come from and teach them that dreaming is for the rich. This is true for the person who has spent their entire existence looking at life from the perspective of lack and struggle – the lack of familiarity that good things can happen for you.

This is where delusion comes in, where one needs to adopt it so intensely that they understand its power. The power of delusion is how it engages you to think beyond your circumstances and the silent whisper chasing away whatever seems good for you. When the only picture you have is one that paints life as a negative experience and as a wall of impossibility you being accustomed to facing the future with the same attitude. Those who save themselves from these are those who embrace delusion. To escape being trapped in a poverty mindset, one needs delusion.

Fruits

The world itself is delusion, from every little thing that exists to the overly gratified wealthy minority is delusion. It is the fruits of delusion and seeing how success is brimming and successfully executed delusion. It is delusion that will erase all the thoughts about not being good enough, not being educated enough, not being smart enough to try something. It is also delusion that will change ‘I can’t do it’ to ‘I can give it a try and do my best’ – delusion makes a huge difference and that is its power. It will save you from being trapped in the idea that you are undeserving and unworthy in life. It grooms a positive ground for affirmation that anyone can do what they set their mind to and that delusion is not limited to the minority, but is at the disposable of every individual who cares to challenge it as ‘bad’.

Thought

As you are reading this, perhaps a part of you already has thought of many reasons why you cannot think too big. With piled memories of every moment where no one has truly called you delusion, but has made you feel it too and suggested that delusion is only a concept of being head in the clouds. May your understanding of delusion change how you understand life because the biggest achievers and the most accomplished people are those who have a strong sense of belief, have thought far beyond their barriers and dared to be delusional. To question your abilities and potential is to deny yourself a level of delusion that is needed to grow.

In your pursuit of growth, be delusion so much that nothing feels unattainable and out of reach for you to accomplish. There is so much power in delusion because it manifests the life you deserve and attracts what you need. When there is no delusion, you are simply denying yourself self-conviction and a sense of esteem that has the potential to carry you through a far much better future. Although setting yourself in delusion is hard for a society that only sees it as madness, you break through a level of courage that will carry you through life without having any doubts.
