LOBAMBA – Knowledge is power, especially when it is put into good use.

These were the words uttered by Swaziland National Tennis Association President Maxwell Jele during the closing ceremony of the SNTA Teachers’ Coaching Course. The course was held at NFAS Technical Centre in Lobamba from Monday until yesterday.

There were 12 teachers from across the country who attended the four-day training course. Some of the participants were from Mhlume Primary, Living Waters Primary and Siyakhula Primary, to mention a few.

“We are very happy that indeed the course was a success and without your participation, it would not be a success. We hope the knowledge you have gained today will be implemented to the beneficiaries,” said Jele.
Jele further pointed out that it was of paramount importance for the teachers to attend the course because they would be used as channels of developing the sport.

“They have learnt the basics of the sport and we hope they will do their best to teach these children the sport so that it develops. We as the Tennis Association are grateful for devoting your precious time for this course. We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the teachers, the expert Bridget Visee, Sports Council and SOCGA for ensuring that the course was a success,” said Jele.

Meanwhile, Swaziland National Sports Recreational Council CEO Darious Dlomo applauded all the participants for enrolling in the course.
“Knowledge acquisition is vital for anyone who wants to grow in life and now all that is left is for implementing what you have in order to grow and develop the sport at grassroots level.
