MBABANE – Royal Leopard Ladies soccer team hoisted the country’s flag when they beat Lesotho’s Barau Ladies.

The police ensemble won 7-0 on the second of two friendly games that were played at LNDC Stadium in Lesotho.
This was revealed by the team’s secretary Xolile Dlamini, who noted that they played very well.

“Well, we might have lost in the first game against Barolo Ladies where we went down to 2-1, this was due to that we are still trying to familiarise ouselves with the state of the pitch. In the second game we proved that we were the better side as we banged in seven goals.

These games help us to gauge ourselves against international opponents and now we know where we stand,” said Dlamini. She further said their journey was a success as they travelled safe to and from Lesotho.
She also noted that the friendly match helped them gain more experience and exposure.
