MBABANE – Azam FC are having sleepless nights at the thought of facing Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze and Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu on Sunday.

The club’s assistant coach was quoted by The Citizen newspaper in Dar es-Salaam heaping glowing praise on Swallows despite that his team won the first leg 1-0.
And he was frank in his assessment of the game, admitting that the ice cream makers laboured to beat the Swaziland side. “Swallows’ Banele Sikhonde and Njabulo Ndlovu were a constant threat to the hosts’ defence built around Bruce Kangwa and Shomari Kapombe,” reads the newspaper.

Cheche said: “I am very happy that we have put one foot in the playoffs. I am proud of my players for beating a very strong team. It was not an easy game. We were shaky in the first half, especially in the first 30 minutes, but I am happy that we gave our fans something to cheer about.”
The assistant coach said they would have to go back to the drawing board to try and rectify some of the shortcomings that Swallows exposed in their game last Sunday.
