11 INTERNATIONALS IN AC LEOPARDS SQUAD
MBABANE – CAF Confederations Cup representatives Mbabane Swallows’ opponents AC Leopards boast up to 11 internationals in their squad.
The record-breaking local side will face the Congolese outfit in a two-legged qualifying round decider between April 9 and 16. Highly-rated players include deadly Zambia-born forward Winston Katengo, who has five goals in nine national team appearances.
Other notable internationals that are paraded by the 2012 CAF Confederations Cup champions, are midfielder Brice Zimbori from Central African Republic and Michel Ndougsa from Cameroon. A majority of Leopards’ imports are from neighbouring DR Congo. They include goalkeeper Herve Lomboto and striker, Vinny Kombe. The full squad was posted on renowned football site Transfer Market. The list of players to do duty in the encounter could not be immediately ascertained.

ows, who are in chase of a place in the group stages for the first time in history, will play the first leg away in Congo next Sunday before playing the reverse fixture at home a week later. The capital city giants are likely to leave for Stade Denis Sassou Nguesso, Dolisie Stadium in Congo next Saturday to connect a 5pm flight in Johannesburg. The winner of the play-off match will progress to the group stage.
